With a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a PGCE teaching certificate specializing in EAL, both obtained in the UK, Cecilia has dedicated herself to fostering an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. Over the past four years, she has enriched the academic and personal lives of students in IB international schools, taking on diverse roles and teaching various subjects.

 

Cecilia aspires to help her students become internationally minded individuals who are aware of global issues and are motivated to make a positive impact in the world. Her teaching philosophy centers around creating a student-centered classroom where learners are active participants in their education. Cecilia emphasizes teaching methods tailored to bilingual learners and incorporates multidisciplinary integration to connect knowledge with real-world applications.

 

Outside the classroom, Cecilia is passionate about martial arts, having transitioned from boxing to Muay Thai last year. This passion led her to Phuket, where she fell in love with the island’s vibrant culture and lifestyle. Her extensive experience studying and working in different countries has fueled her appreciation for multicultural environments, which she brings into her teaching to celebrate diversity and global perspectives.
